Chaplain’s Report

Chaplain Report
My fellow officers, Comrades, and Auxiliary members Well, the Mid-Winter is over, and for those of you that were not able to make it, you missed a good one. There was a whole lot of good information that was brought up and passed out. I will not go in to detail as the representatives from your post and your district will let you in on it I am sure. Now on to the District meetings and then on to the Department Convention in Billings. The Red Lion is the convention hotel, so make your reservations early and ask for the V.F.W. rate when calling. There is a slate full of new officer candidates for the upcoming year. The top three chairs will be moving up and there are a few besides that. They will need your votes so please consider making the convention in
Billings. Comrades, we are losing members at a faster pace than we are signing up new members. We have to try & turn this around. Whenever you talk to someone about joining the V.F.W., please ask them if they would consider the “life payment plan”. Wouldn’t you like to leave a legacy to your post, department, and national, even after you have gone to meet your
maker? For as long as the Veterans of Foreign Wars is in existence, they will remember your name & your post, enough said! Just one more thing once again, if you have any deaths, sickness, or illnesses in your post or family, please, let me know so I can get an appropriate card on the way. In the meantime, and until we meet again, take care, stay warm, drive
careful, and may God Bless each of you & your families.
